What are Needle-FREE Allergy Skin Tests ?
Our On-site Allergy Tests
Some allergy testing can be done in the office. On occasion, an allergy test (such as a blood test) must be sent out to the lab. The Center for Asthma & Allergy offers specific allergy testing in the office for our patients’ convenience and comfort:
Allergy prick tests for foods and environmental allergens
Scratch tests
Skin tests for Penicillin and other medications
Insect venom skin tests
Patch tests for common cosmetics and chemicals
Fresh fruit allergy testing for Oral Allergy Syndrome
Local anesthetic allergy testing (like Lidocaine etc)
Other allergy tests and procedures offered include, but are not limited, to:
Allergen vaccine preparation and dispensing
Allergy shots (allergen immunotherapy)
Pulmonary function testing (Spirometry)
Oral challenge for foods
Oral challenge for medications
Flu vaccine for egg-allergic children
